SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:
The Construction Project Manager is responsible for coordinating all internal resources to ensure the external deliverables are met, along with being the primary party responsible for the review, negotiation, and conformance with contracts and master agreements. This position is also responsible for assuring installation site requirements are met, customer architects and construction contractors are supported, assists project management and installation teams in and improving field-based processes and practices. In addition, this position’s role is to directly interact with architects and construction companies to promote a strategic working relationship driving ongoing and future business.
Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Primary point of contact for all architectural and construction partners.
- Serves as the Construction and Installation stakeholder for product development release team.
- Develops, implements and maintains Standard Operating Procedures for Installation to comply with federal, state and local regulations.
- Provides support and design services to the HydroWorx sales team as well as customers’ project managers, general contractors, and architects/builders.
- Serves as key member of product risk assessment and project design review teams.
- Reviews and approves product design and installation documentation.
- Interprets construction regulations and ensure compliance to installation procedures.
- Supports root cause analysis activities for the investigation of product installation complaints.
- Actively participates and assists teams with Risk Analysis to include Risk Assessments, DFMEA/PFMEA’s, etc.
- Reviews ongoing activities and data to identify high priority issues relating to installation complaints and enforcing architect and construction contractor satisfaction.
- Provides creative input and assists with pre-sale design services.
- Works with pipeline deals and keeps project information current.
- Responsible for all US and International safety and construction code design requirements
- Responsible to review each install quality review form / photos to ensure products were installed properly and QC paperwork is 100% complete and filed.
- Responsible for reviewing each submitted customer startup form to ensure they are 100% complete and filed.
- Responsible for ensuring any open items that is preventing the customer from using the HydroWorx systems post install are resolved.
- Routinely audits installations in process to ensure QC and customer satisfaction
- Routinely audits / attends startups to ensure customer satisfaction
- Attends weekly MPS meeting and provide detail on projects as requested
- Attends bi-monthly project audit meeting and reviews drawings and verifies incorporated design vs. the sales order
- Assists in reviewing installation photos and checklists before deployment of field labor
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Responsible to maintain all documentation related to projects, and to defend/negotiate back-charges or claims. Also responsible for establishing systems to track progress and schedule/coordinate internally as required.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or other related degree and/or equivalent experience.
- 7-10+ years of formal training combined with field experience with a construction-based firm.
- Experience with construction and design.
- Project Manager experience for a medium to large construction company
- Solution based approach to projects when working with architects and general contractors

- This position requires 50% field travel, 50% office time, and wide-ranging product knowledge as well as best practices for building and construction-based scopes of work.

Physical Demands:
The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy and fax machines, filing cabinets.

Computer, telephone, copy & fax machines and company provided tools.
Travel:
As required by the position, generally 50%
Training:
